This is the tithe map of Barningham drawn in 1838 which was rescued from the Rectory in 2010. It is now in Durham County Records Office but the BLHG has a digitalised copy of this and other maps for Scargill and Hope which we can email to you on request.
A fullsize (five foot x two) replica of this map is being made and it is hoped it will go on permanent display in Barningham Village Hall.
